Who we are and what we do
Boys and Girls in grades K-5 attending school in the FM School District are invited to join us.
Time Commitment—Our Pack meets monthly for an hour, and each Den (grade-level smaller group) meets once or twice a month for an hour to work on achievements. The pack also hosts optional monthly hikes, Fall and Spring family campouts, and other annual events like the Raingutter Regatta and Pinewood Derby.
Cost - Our Pack is self-funded through annual dues and fundraisers. The 2023-2024 dues are $185/$200 for returning Scouts and $210/$225 for new Scouts. Dues include the following:
- Council Membership Fee ($80)
- Annual Pack Charter Fee ($80)
- Registration fee for new members only ($25)
- Den dues ($25)
- Optional: Add Scout Life Magazine for an additional $15
Uniform - We do require all Scouts to have the following uniform, commonly called Class A:
- Kindergarten - Lion t-shirt only
- First - Third Grade - Blue Cub Scout shirt (short sleeve recommended)
- Fourth and Fifth Grade - Khaki BSA shirt (short sleeve recommended)
- All Levels - Belt - Blue for 1st - 3rd and Green for 4th and 5th grades
- All Levels, except Lion - appropriate Neckerchief
- All Levels - Shirt Patches -
- BSA world crest
- Pack number "369"
- Longhouse council bar
- Den numerals (pick one: AOL - Den 7, Webelos - Den 1, Bear - Den 2, Wolf - Den 3, Tiger - Den 4)
Optional Uniform items:

Everyone can be a Scout, no matter their situation.
Cub Scout activities are centered around earning badges that are specific to each school grade level. This badge represents a rank. Advancement refers to the progress a Cub Scout makes toward their badge of rank. All of the activities for each rank are in the Cub Scout handbooks.
