Popcorn Sale & Fundraising

A group of parents overseen by the Cub Master to organize Pack meeting events from October through April. Past meeting events have included the Pumpkin Carving contest for October, Holiday games and crafts for December, and guest speakers like the Manlius Police Department and members of the Air National Guard.

Annual dues & registration fees don't cover the cost of running a robust Cub Scout Pack. To this end, we participate in a number of activities through the year such as the fall Popcorn sale, Bottle & Can drives, Silent Auctions and more. All families are expected to participate as best they can.

Rain Gutter Regatta

Held at Camp Woodland, Cub Scouts get a taste of Scout Camp with a full day of activities and a fun, optional, overnight camp out. Daytime activities include shooting, archery, rock wall, nature hikes and more. Additional fees apply.

Rain Gutter Regatta

Held every year in late fall, scouts build and decorate a wind-powered boat using the provided kit. Then, during the regatta, they use straws to blow their boat from one of the race lanes to the other. The fastest boat wins!

Community Service

Service is a foundation of the Scout Law. Each year we seek to participate in a number of community activities which benefit the FM community. Past events have included singing Christmas Carols to seniors at Brookdale Manlius, Food drives for the local Food Bank, and Earth Day clean ups.

Cub Scouts celebrate their birthday every year on Feb 8 with special Scout Sunday church services and special party - The Blue & Gold Banquet. Join this committee to coordinate Scout Sunday at St. Anns or create a wonderful pack celebration event. Past events have been movie night, pancake breakfasts and spagetti dinners.
